    Clarkson in the Clarts.

It's Jonathon Ross syndrome. One of the problems with Clarkson - and there are many - is that he is prey to the delusion that he is an entertainer or a comedian. Like Ross he is neither and my guess is this knarks him. He is a few things: Journalist, Presenter, author etc and in some of those...

Bouncing Bombs - BBC2's Dam Busters: The Race to Smash the German Dams

Any one catch the splendid documentary on the Dambusters? Timewatch BBC2 Sat eve. Nice to know the petty jealousy and bickering goes right to the very top.

    It is big and clever....

For those of us highly impressed with swearing and who like a bit of Politics: In The Loop - on the iPlayer for another 5 days. Malcom Tuckers' finest hour. The Thick of It goes to America.

    TT3D: Closer to the Edge

Just watched this in Birmingham with Mrs House - Very excellent documentary despite the pointles 3D gimick. I urge even non Bikers to give it a look. It's not just about Guy Martin or just about the TT. A well photographed, proper documentary by a proper film maker.

    Twenty Twelve....

Continues to impress. Any one who loved 'People like us' will see the similarities. It's not going to be another 'Office' but it is nice to have a quality comedy show on. 'Friday night Dinner' also well worth a look. Mark Heap and Wilson being the creepiest pair of characters to grace our...

    the Next Fred Dibnah

Great programme for those of an Engineering/History bent - Guy Martin building a Boat and throwing pots, casting Iron, building a mini steam engine, having a shower etc in the Midlands, making soap unsuitable for vegetarians. I only new him as a fab Road racer until last night. Think it's...

    Top Gear Runs it's course.

It is as if there has been a deliberate decision taken to scale down this series to get back it's boring motorist centred roots. Last nights treatment of Guest John Prescott was appalling. Clarkson at his smug boorish best seemingly unable to hide is absolute disgust at having to converse with...

Daily Mail Identifies main Trigger for Heart Attacks!

Not Red Meat, Not Stress, Not Smoking, Not Students, Single Mothers, Lefties, or Immigrants - legal or not. No the winner is.......cycling. Even for the Mail this is pushing it. Any Mail Readers here care to defend? I know you are out there.

    Slaphead Jock Nogger Moron

I thought this sort of stuff had ended with Racist Ron. The Daily Mail are putting up a feeble defence -(much like Wolves). It's just Banter? Can't they take a Joke? The Female in question made a dam fine call in the Game. Sack Andy Gray now. If I did the same at work I'd get dismissed.

    Bunch of Jeremy's

http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2010/dec/06/james-naughtie-today-jeremy-hunt Why is this so funny? I much prefer JN to John Humphrys.

    World Cup 2018 bid

The FIFA Dream team is a little laughable isn't it? A bloke who did'nt win a general election. A bloke who played football but never won a World Cup - or even appeared in the final. A minor Royal whose connection to Football I do not know about. Anyone think of three better? Boris? Jim...

    Sleuth ?

Watched the remake on the tellybox last night. What utter drivel, what a massive dissapointment. The original is one of my alltime faves - this effort completely changes the ending which kept viewers hanging on until the last frame in the original for a load of Homoerotic nonsense. Kenneth...

Eye Choons Fabs at Last! The Beatles available on iTunes

All a bit late I think - how many sales have been lost whilst they have been arguing? Macca has taken his stuff off Spotify - I presume to negotiate a better deal. Will the Mono stuff reissued last year be available? Admin edit: Amended thread title for clarity & to aid searches.

    No Country for Old Men

    Stephen Fry Comments....

He seems to getting more than his share of flak for comments he has been making on and off for the last twenty years. i.e. Women do not like/enjoy sexual congress as much as Men! Not surprisingly the Mail are shouting the loudest.
