Why do posts show up 5 hours behind the time they should do?

For the months I was reading the forum without being registered, I assumed there was some sort of time delay as an incentive to join and not just stay as a guest!

I know its not just my computer, because I remember looking at the forum when I was elsewhere in the country and it was the same!

Edit - the 5 hours explains why for a while I thought everyone on the Forum was nocturnal - there were loads of posts made between midnight and mid-day, and very few made between mid-day and midnight!
