A train set !!!! …. I was sort of expecting lots of steam and mighty conrods flying around and the roar only a real railway engine can make.

(Don't mind me, I'm still in the age of Tri-ang and Hornby Dublo. But I was only about 10 then. I've moved on.) :P

There's usually steam on the go - this was last year.

It occurs to me that there was parking the other side of the main road last year, with access via the tunnel, which is vastly preferable to the swamp on the main site, unless the walk is an issue for you.

Well, I attended today and thought it was a good bit quieter than the Sunday last year, but I'm told it was packed yesterday.

I survived the main site car park, that being all that was available this year, although it was quite feasible for the heavy-footed to bog themselves in...

There was a lot of London Underground stuff and quite a few layouts in 3mm/foot scale.
