A little victory

Recently had notice of a 'parking ticket' from Smart Parking for parking on Asda car park all day on 3rd April.
They'd clocked me calling in at 08.01 in the morning but not leaving 5 mins later. I was then clocked leaving the car park at 17.11 but not entering at just after 17.00.
Luckily I have a Tracker on my car and once I was able to download the log it showed me leaving ASDA at 8.06 then being parked up at work all day. Before re-visiting ASDA at 17.07.
Just been advised that their 'adjudicating commitee' aka some bird in a call centre's supervisor has decided to quash the ticket.
Hurrah for Tracker.

wanna see my snake?
Sounds to me like they either:

a) Have a system that does not account for repeat visits in the same day.
b) Are scamming gits

Did you use the same entrance/exit as didn't I read on here that the back entrance onto Lamscote hasn't the system cameras so can throw up anomalies

Enjoying a drop of red.
Or alternatively just pop into customer services, explain what happened and they will stop any further action. Have done for me three times now, no problem.

Had another one on Friday, have responded to Smart and am going to write to the Asda store manager to advise how their chosen contractor is performing.

Is it a council car park or privately owned? If the latter then who really cares?

Know what you mean but as it's a company car but registered elsewhere within the group I need to shut it down otherwise they'll keep getting all the letters.

I know what you mean - I have a similar issue with my company motor, the dealership the car came from gets the fines and just pays them, slaps a £25 admin fee on and then sends me an invoice for the sum. There is no telling them to just ignore any tickets with Theiving Parking Monkeys Ltd written on them.
