At least one hospitalisation, apparently - http://www.staffordshirenewsletter....ccident-busy/story-20445826-detail/story.html .
Sounds very unpleasant all round If driving legally, a crash on that bridge is very very unlikely. Sadly people speed excessively over it in both directions and would not be surprised if this turned out to be a contributing factor. It is common to see people racing down the hill then applying brakes to round the bend on the bridge, or to ignore the change from 40 to 30 completely coming into Stafford. I hope the person who's fault it is gets prosecuted.
Not ignorant, based on experience. It is a location that needs more speed enforcement because once all those "I'm a safe driver"s are past the last speed camera they think driving like a maniac is acceptable. I have seen more than one person nearly lose control on that bridge. Whilst the causes are not yet confirmed for today it does not detract from it being a section of road with a speeding problem.Ignorant speculation

Read what was written - carefully, as clearly you haven't.You have no idea of the facts of this particular accident, therefore any comment you may have on it before the facts are released is ignorant.
But at least it gives you a good excuse for trolling.
