Wasn't sure if this should go here or the general forum, but anyway.....

I'm applying to a place that previously gave me an interview, but then turned me down. The application form is asking virtually the same questions, and the job is in the same vein as the last with a different focus. As the last application form got me an interview should I simply tart it up a little, or should I try to rewrite completely? Part of me says its being lazy if I reuse the old one, but on the strength of that I did get an interview last time.

Gotta be in by tonight as well!

Enjoying a drop of red.
I'd reuse most of the old answers and just change the focus where appropriate.

But I've never applied for a job in my life so take it with a pinch of salt.

You got to interview, the last candidate might of interviewed well but not good at the job, just do a gentle rewrite with some extras. Good luck

I'd change the wording a bit so that they are not exactly the same answers.

Reworded about 50%. Realised that the job title is the same as last time even if the requirements are not, wonder if despite not choosing me (who is awesome BTW) they still failed to find a candidate?

I would change nothing at all.

Got you to interview stage first time round - ain't broke etc etc

But then i am a quite exceptionally lazy mf.
