went to see this in uttoxeter on monday.. was pretty good - defo had joss whedon's touch to it (i didn't even know he was set to direct it - a right touch, imo)! was a bit long for my liking, though..the best part of the film was the first 80% - i.e. when they are all assembling.. the banter and relationships between the various characters was quality, but the ending was just a massively long half-hour set-piece.. yes, it was visually impressive, but i always find myself thinking "come on, we know the good guys are gonna win, don't drag it out any more than you have to" lol..
basically, it was good, so i'd go and see it if i were you, if only to give whedon some money so he can keep making stuff..
