I saw this in the Hospice shop the other day.
CD player, amp and FM/DAB radio, with auxiliary and phono inputs, it seemed a good set up, so ! bought it.
I set it up to see if everything worked - and it does, including both remotes. Excellent, I thought.
The last thing that I tried was the CD player. It indicated that it would play, if I pressed Play, so I did, and it played. I find that people often leave CDs inside players, so I opened it to replace it with one of mine and found the drawer to be empty.
When I closed the drawer, still without a CD in, it was still able to play. Mystery.....
Some investigation revealed that it actually contains a hard-drive, which will record from any played CDs, should you so wish. Even further investigation revealed that the hard disc is currently only 2/3 full, yet it contains (a reasonable estimate of) over two weeks continuous music....
