Any idea of the local feeling towards this?
Complete and utter dump, simply doesn't do the Crossbow justice. Will it be a return to the standards that the old Crossbow had in the '70s?
Let us hope not....
It was more the customer service approach that I had in mind - I lived in Porlock Avenue for four years and only ever went in there once.Complete and utter dump, simply doesn't do the Crossbow justice.
The Crossbow was their 'local' in the old days - they may be a bit less sympathetic now - their bizarre response to the 7 Market Square proposal makes you wonder what they might think up here.Looks good to me. Never really used the Lynton Arms but not being Dad's Taxi as much now, I have more time on my hands. I wonder if the police will poopoo the idea?
I like the idea of a cafe / bar. When the old Co-op closed I actually had a dream that this was happening.Seems like a good idea to me.

One of them has been fitted out with a number of 'cubicles' - maybe a sunbed shop?As an aside they are fitting the two smaller units next to the new Coop. Are they Takeaways?
