I tried growing a beard, (got lazy for a few weeks) but it looks naff and is annoying so where is the best best to get an old school shave?

I have experience of one, so can't say its the best, or worst, but I came away with a close shave and zero cuts. Sam's Barbers on Gaol Road.

Learn how to shave properly with a double edged razor. Edwin Jagger DE85 (good beginners option, I personally use a Rockwell Model T2), Taylors shaving cream, brush (synthetic or badger hair) and Astra or Gillette 7 o clock blades. Cheaper and less plastic waste than cartridge shaving. Don't use shaving gel from a can (aka crap in a can).
