Finally took the plunge and bought the Lambretta I've been promising myself for several years. Does anybody know of a good bike MOT place, pref with lamby experience?

Sorry, I thought you wanted a bike MOT, not someone to take a look at your pathetically small-wheeled pedestrian controlled vehicle (you have to push them a lot).

Seriously, ask Chells, but I'm sure the nearest Lamby specialist is down in Wolverhampton (I remember carting one down there on the back of my old pick-up truck).

Chells have a Lambretta for sale at the min, so hopefully know a bit about them. Give them a ring.

Although you should have got a real bike, I picked this up yesterday:

I used to ride something a bit like the bike pictured below - 50cc (!) - needed a push uphill sometimes, but fantastic fun!

And I've already broke it! Fine yesterday, but got to work today and the front right fork seal has gone. Was fine yesterday when I was riding about, but hit a pothole this morning. And Haynes don't make a manual for my bike, bah!
