If anyone lost a black & white dog......8.05am today just seen one trotting petrified down the hard shoulder between j 14- 13 southound.
A llorry driver had stopped and trying to coax it towards him, but was getting very close to 1st lane as I went past ( just had to make it to Frankley services to post , so hoping its been safely caught by now).looked medium size, possibly small collie type .

Anyone else pass at that time and see if the lorry driver managed to grab him?

A few posts under my belt
I went past around 8.10 and there was nothing to be seen apart from some Highways Agency people. Hopefully all sorted.

Hope he/she got caught safely. I darent stop on the hard shoulder behind it in case I spooked it into the carriageway. Just slowed down with my hazards on in case it ran out, hoping others behind would spot it . The lorry driver hopefully got it's trust and managed to grab it in time. ( saw warnings signs' animals in road' a bit later, so highways must have been made aware)
