Bluetooth woes..

We had our ailing PC sorted out yesterday....reinstallation of windows etc, but my bluetooth prog has been wiped, so i can't transfer photos or tunes to or from my phone. I've got a Bluesoleil dongle, and when i bought it i got a driver CD, which i've handily lost. I've been to their website where it says i can download the drivers, but none of the links work. Does anyone know if it's possible for me to download a generic one?

are you using windows xp SP2? and all the updates/patches applied? i only ask, because i've installed 3 different bluetooth dongles in my time (2 on my machine, 1 on my dad's) and every time i haven't had to install any drivers - just took the dongle out of the shrink wrap, plugged it in any old USB port, and windows had me up and running in minutes!

make sure you're on SP2, and have applied all updates.. even if you end up not using the dongle, you must do that before you let your 'puter loose on t'internet anyway..
