Hey, the RAF firework show, can anyone go to it or do you have to know someone who works there? Quick responce since it's tomorrow >.< my boyfriend is taking the evening off his football club just to take me but if it's private then he can go football and we'll do something Friday. x

Thank you, :) haha I was ready to use the line 'my mother worked here 21 years ago' haha but it was actually the RAF then.

The open to all personal thing confuses me no end.
perhaps that applies to the type of search that the nice men at the gates will give you

The personnel are the people working on the MOD i.e. the regiments etc.

Where it says "our neighbours" means people living in stafford/surrounding areas :)

The best is at Shugborough and all the proceeds go to local charities - Sat 6th Nov 7pm Bonfire is lit and fireworks at 7.30pm. The fireworks went on for ages last year. Buy your tickets in advance its cheaper if you are going as a family

Surely all proceeds go to charity after admin, operating costs, overheads, etc etc.....

Never made it to the MOD, did anyone go? I expected to hear fireworks from our place but didn't notice anything.

I'm only a few hundred yards away and heard nothing either. Some years ago I heard a Shugborough display indoors, with the windows shut and the radio on..

Four miles in a straight line.

Perhaps they have stealth rockets these days..
