Bookcase

Given that I now have a spare room, I'm going to put all my books in it and have a library. This means I need bookcases.
Anyone know anywhere? Functionality is ranked over aesthetics, so I'm not going to be spending a fortune on antiques or anything.
Ta. :)

I will have some for sale soon but not for a few more weeks... still trying to sell the house.

Will let you know when they are ready. One is 5 shelves, one 3 and one is antique, glass fronted and 4 shelves.

I'd second the billy idea, £29. I've had mine full for the last 5 years and they show no signs of giving up.

Wookie, I have a few white and black MFI bookcases, if you want to come and have a look. No pics at the moment as I'm busy packing. Can sell you each for £5. I also have CD racks if you are interested.

Sorry, Gila, been off the forum the last few weeks. Had more necessary things to do in the evenings.... Anyway, am still in the "sorting the books and deciding what to get rid of" stage (lots of books, y'see) and am beginning to think it was a bit previous asking for shelves: I misunderestimated how long it would take me to sort through everything.
So if anyone turns up offering cash money for the cases, by all means sell. I'll post here again when books are sorted. :)

You still looking for bookcases?

We just agreed a sale on our house which means all bookcases will be emptied in the very near future.

Let me know.
