Bring Burger King to Stafford

Although I cannot claim to be any kind of expert in burger matters, tending only toi use burger joints as a 'quick fix' when travelling. There used to be a chain in the Manchester area called The Canadian Charcoal Pit. Better than Maccy D's or BK in my humble opinion.
I picked up a hitch-hiker yesterday, originally from Liverpool, but living in Canada for many years. One thing that he misses from back here is the quality of the food, particularly the meat. That surprised me, I must admit..

Oh look another worthless troll post by DB.

If you are going to post, try adding something to the topic for a change. You never know, you might enjoy it.

Someone open a fast food restaurant then who sells these healthy foods at the same kind of prices that you can get a mcd's etc for. Maybe it will give folk more incentive to eat it. The only places you can buy a salad or the like is a proper eatery with the price tag to boot. Gx

The cafe that closed down by Wickes was brill for quality sandwiches and salads. I really was sorry to see that place go

Ah, that makes sense. I've been looking at the word 'percolator' and the more I looked the less I was sure I was right!

I'm not a fan of coffee but they had what appeared to be a good selection of delicious-smelling coffee beans at the front of the counter.

I propose we start a new thread......
......BRING BACK THE PERK U LATER!!!!

and Burger King can stop on the motorway.

Disclaimer: The BK thing was a joke and I in no way want to be dragged into the who should or shouldn't eat what debate/general nastiness that's going around - well not on this thread anyway!

Personally I'd love to see a BK come to stafford - you can make the choice of whether to use it or not.

The trouble with the one on the motorway is it's a 25 mile round trip or risking going in the back way (ooooooooh matron!).

Used to love the sarnies at perk-u-later, used to send the missus over on a saturday morning to get me one :D

EDIT: Damn, I split with her in 2004. How long has it been closed?!?!?!

A friend of mine booked the place for an evening to celebrate a significant birthday. And a good do it was, too.

Not forgetting the unofficial doxey junction !
