Cables and switch box

Hi guys,
Have been clearing out my loft and found some cables etc that i have no use for and knowing there are a few techy people on here thought i would see if any use before chucking them.

We used the switch box to connect 2 PCs to one monitor if i remeber correctly and we also had 2 sets of mouse (or shoudl that be mice?) and keyboards also connected throught it-both old style connectors, not USB. There is also a serial cable and old printer cable, again pre USB connection. About a shoe box full of assorted. Dont know if any use but if you think may be useful be glad to see back of them.

i prefer "mouses" but, frustratingly, either is correct apparently
Just had a look in PC World, as I am not often in that vicinity, and noticed that they use the term 'mice'. Hope this information is helpful.

trusting PC World for PC-related advice is like asking vanessa feltz the best way to look after a roast chicken..

i checked various online dictionaries and wikipedia, and they all seem to say that either "mice" or "mouses" is acceptable - which annoys the hell out of me as it means i can't be a tiresome pedant about it
