Cancer Male & Female

Mad Cat Woman
Not an easy subject to talk about, but it affects each and every one of us in some way.

I have recently lost a much loved friend and work mate to breast cancer. She was only 46.
She found a lump 3 years ago, went to her Doctor, had the tests and was told in no easy way, she had cancer. She had chemo and radiation treatment, went into remission and gradually started to live again. Sadly it came back, first in her breast, then it spread to her lungs, then finally her bones.
She died on the 24th of July, very peaceful from all accounts.

My point? I would like everyone who is reading this thread to check their bodies. Any strange lump which is not normally there, or has grown bigger, maybe a mole that has changed shape, size and colour. Get it all checked.
I had a lump a while ago, went my doctor, straight up the DGH for a mammogram, everything was fine. I was lucky. Some are not.

I lost my mum to cancer last year, I ask everyone I know to check themselves. Thanks Glam.
