The Chase is involved in a National Lottery Fund competition where public votes are required to win their bid to enhance designated tracks and facilities.

I don't follow this pursuit myself but I'm sure plenty of people on here will want to also lend support:

It's probably worth noting that this thing doesn't seem to count IP address or cookie. In fact the only thing it does seem to have it a captcha... whatever that means...

Vote for Chase Trails in National Lottery Awards. Vote online or by calling 0844 836 9721 (voting closes at midday on 20 June so vote today)

Chase Trails have reached the semi-finals if the 2011 National Lottery Awards. The awards are an annual search to find the UK's favourite Lottery-funded projects, and they aim to celebrate and recognise the difference that those projects have made to people, places and communities all across the UK.

We need your vote to help us win the award for best sports project.

By voting for Chase Trails and 'The Monkey Trail' you'll be showing your support for the trail and the work our volunteers do to build and maintain it. Most importantly if we win the 2k prize we'll spend it on rock & timber to improve the trail. We'd encourage all of the mountain bike community to get behind us and show their support for trail development and the future of sustainable mountain biking in the UK.

Please VOTE today

Are you suggesting that multiple votes are possible?

I would never suggest wilfully manipulating an online service for your own devious ends.

Chase Trails have now made it to the finals of the 2011 National Lottery Awards. We will now be part of a special BBC One show in November when the winners will be announced. This is great news for Chase Trails and will really help us publicise what we do and get more people involved in supporting us. The final round of public voting to determine the winner will take place in September. Thanks to everyone who voted for us and help spread the word. Your support and the new contacts we've made has been fantastic.

Rob.
