RAC want £80 from me and apparently they don't reward loyal customers just try and entice new ones!

Its a hell of a lot of money for a 'what if' but I holiday in Wales so cant really afford to break down on Anglesey surrounded by sheep...

I'll need personal cover as we have bikes and cars, tried comparison sites but cant find anything reasonable!

Any suggestions?

This might not be helpful but did you know you can get RAC with Tesco Rewards?

We have an advantage gold account with Natwest. It cost £10 a month but gives us phone insurance, break down cover with green flag and various other bits and bobs.

I'm sure when I took out green flag last year it was £28. My renewal quote is even cheaper, as they have given me a no call out discount. Plus, quidco cashback.

100% recommendation for AutoAid
www.autoaidbreakdown.co.uk.

£39 for the year, which is a full complete service including home cover, recovery etc. All FAQs are here:
http://www.autoaidbreakdown.co.uk/breakdown_insurance/breakdown_faqs.php

The minor "catch", is that it is "Pay and Claim". At the time of your breakdown, you have to pay the breakdown company directly for the cost of your recovery/time, hotels etc. But then you can claim this back, within the tolerances, off AutoAid. Your married partner is also covered, both in any vehicle.

I've been a member for years, family too, no problems whatsoever in claiming.
