I can see why I suppose, I don't actually have one.Gramaisc said:No.djwellis said:In my hat?Gramaisc said:I've seen you in the Noah's Ark...
It would be a few weeks ago, but I understand that you may be intending to go there tonight..djwellis said:I can see why I suppose, I don't actually have one.Gramaisc said:No.djwellis said:In my hat?
When did you see me? I feel observed!

The supermarkets......flossietoo said:Happy days...The Crispin, where I was quite possibly the worst barmaid ever encountered (they let me feed the goat and make sandwiches instead of glowering at the drinkers)...the Malt & Hops, where I was hauled in through the back window when the pub had been deemed too full for further custom. Christmas Eve, I think and we were all too young to be in there....the wonderful Eagle where I spent far too many evenings reading the papers, listening to the music and petting one of the resident dogs. There was a magnificent conker trophy on the fireplace, I remember. And Robert Plant popped in one night...upstairs at the Falcon for jazz I mostly didn't understand.
It doesn't make sense, really, we've got more people and fewer pubs. Where on earth does everyone go?
They still go to the pub.flossietoo said:Happy days...The Crispin, where I was quite possibly the worst barmaid ever encountered (they let me feed the goat and make sandwiches instead of glowering at the drinkers)...the Malt & Hops, where I was hauled in through the back window when the pub had been deemed too full for further custom.
