Assuming I continue to test negative I'll be off to London tomorrow, first time back since 2019. Got a gig at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday night and then will finally get to visit the Natural History Museum on Tuesday morning. Tried to go there with a friend on Halloween in 2016 but they didn't let us in because we were dressed up.... o.o

With Covid cases plummeting from all-time highs, experts have increasingly questioned whether vaccines will be a sustainable revenue stream in the years to come, and adding to the concerns, a studyreleased Friday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showed Moderna and Pfizer booster shots lost substantial effectiveness after about four months.

Sorry @gilbert grape but for some totally illogical reason I can't be arsed to click on the links in your post.

Yes, we know - why the hell do you think we all had second shots and boosters?!

Got any data to show cases plummeting? Because I suspect you're tracking the wrong country.

Reported cases of covid probably are plummeting. Since Christmas most of the people I know who have had it haven't bothered to report it and now test kits have to be paid for I suspect that only a small proportion of people with covid are testing or reporting. More reliable indicators might be things like the number of people being admitted to hospital and school class closures. Meanwhile in China cases are rising rapidly.

So I post a link and you all go on the attack rather than digesting the point they question vaccines being a viable revenue stream?
Not that efficacy or saving live is paramount! Share prices have fallen massively since information started coming out about vaccine damage and there are many insurance companies taking extra staff on to process claims. But without a link that won;t matter to some of you, so I'll leave this here, to come back to!!

Son's had a vast majority of his staff off over the past few weeks with it. Both my neighours have had it this last week , as well as their families.
I've been testing regularly , as hubby has to for work as well, but not bothered reporting the negative results as seems a waste of time nowadays.

Seems even booster doses aren't bothered being officially recorded for the records lately in some places either , as when son had his the other week the number of daily boosters administered in his area remained at zero ever since.

I joined the great unmasked for the first time yesterday :hmm: , whilst out shopping without my coat for the first time this year , only realising entering Aldi that my mask was in it's usual place in my coat pocket at home. All other trips lately there hasn't been much mask wearing. The one time I forgot mine I was the odd one out as most shoppers were masked up at the time.

Looking back, I suspect what's happened is you've lifted information ("covid cases plummeting") from a month-old article without knowing that the opposite is happening now. If you open your post with something that is demonstrably the opposite of the reality then you can't blame us for not paying attention to the rest of the post.

Lets be generous to your argument and say that thousands of people HAVE been injured or killed by the vaccine. Take the vaccines away and instead of thousands of people damaged from the vaccine you now have millions of extra dead people from covid. Is that really the version of this reality that you want?

You opened with false information, so the rest of what you write is automatically viewed with suspicion. The trick is to lead with something indisputable, then follow with something mostly true, then hit the gullible with something that follows the trend of the first two and sounds logical but is actually the lie. Bonus points if you do it in a video instead of text to stop people copy/pasting into google to call you out.

You post stuff like this, which is so obviously bullshit, yet you have the nerve to be indignant when you are called out for it.

Also, just to add, a statement without proof is just an opinion, thats why links are expected. If you are saying something you don't think people will believe just show them what made you believe it, should be easy as you know why you think it's true.

I cut out the middleman and didn't bother reading the first sentence of @gilbert grape's post to be honest.

I try to give everyone a fair chance to voice their views on the Forum but repeated, inane, unproven waffle tends to make me disbelieve subsequent ludicrous posts I'm afraid.
