Okay okay but the real question is...
What would Superman do about covid-19?
Or any superhero for that matter?
Thoughts?
I went supermarket shopping for the first time in 2 weeks and wow what a change in people's behaviours.
I counted only 2 face masks, 3 people wearing gloves, people picking up items and replacing them, a total lack of any social distancing and people merrily chatting away as if there was no danger of infection.
Tesco staff were also quite happy to ignore distancing but this time they were blatantly ignoring the one way system as well.
I'm so glad the pandemic is all over and everyone's readjusting to normal live again!!!! How long before the next peak in infections and subsequent deaths?
Why are people such idiots?
Only what I'd expect of the police to be honest.Cops now saying that the Castle trip "might have been minor breach", but they're not going to take any action.

I drove out to give the battery another charge and fill up with petrol at the local Petrol garage. Only one old lady in at the till paying, so I hung around well away until she finally finished her conversation with the cashier and started coming out. Then she did a detour in the shop, getting closer and closer to me as I was backing away further across the shop... then she finally went out without buying anything else anyway. No sense or what?I went supermarket shopping for the first time in 2 weeks and wow what a change in people's behaviours.

We know now that not only are there no consequences, but we should be praised for breaking lockdown, isn't that what the overlords said?I know it is very sad and very dangerous, but you seem surprised? The whole lockdown was based on the concept of ‘we are all in this together, for the common good’ Anybody who broke the rules risked becoming a social outcast and carried the guilt of their actions with them. That has now changed, with rule breakers being praised for using their common sense and being good parents. People are confused and therefore they are doing their own risk assessments, using their own common sense and deciding that the risk (to themselves) is worth it especially as everybody else is doing what they want. They have lost trust in the rule makers, as they have been seen to interpret and change the rules to suit themselves. People are no longer thinking of what’s best for society but of what is best for themselves, taking a lead directly from the government.
I am not defending this response – It is now going to get far more difficult for everybody especially if you are in a high risk category group. I fear a second peak is now more likely than ever.
It is very sad, but also very predictable given the government’s actions this week.
Pay at pump at Tesco or Asda is the way to go.I drove out to give the battery another charge and fill up with petrol at the local Petrol garage. (And after that scare, I forgot to grab the planned Mars Bar off the shelf as I was paying )
Dido Harding just told me on an MPs’ conference call that Test, Trace & Isolate won’t be fully operational at local level till the end of June.
