It’s hardly a surprise that they can’t sell it. The place has never been the same since it was “modernised”. It’s like sitting in a soul-less greenhouse& certainly not somewhere worth walking to (assuming a local) for a relaxing drink or meal. It’s never really been popular with locals for a long time & isn’t very popular with travelling visitors either. With so many pubs in the surrounding villages having closed over the years it should really have been a lot more popular.
