Couples: What's The Age Gap Between The Both of You?

Something has happened in the past few days that has made me question what a suitable age gap is. Now I know that age is irrelevant as long as you get on, and that age is an attitude and all that, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who has had to question whether a certain age gap is suitable sometime in their life.

The gap I'm talking about personally, is 12 years.
Your thoughts??

You're doomed :D

It's all in the mind mate.

Personally, we have 13 months but then again we're both very immature!

I think once people are over 18 it doesn't really matter, I have a friend who is ten years younger than her partner which freaks me out a lot less than a friend of Gota quid who went out with a 16 year old, (only just - and I mean days!) when he is 19. I think the fact he's at uni and she was jsut working at her GCSEs just made the difference seem huge.

Gota Quid is two years older than me and it has never been an issue.

Age has got fook all to do with it.
Happiness is everything
I've known people with a 5,10 and 20 year age differences (men older and women older).
Being personally comfortable with it is everything, fook everyone else

I find it difficult to understand how relationships with age gaps that span, say a decade, can have much common ground. Unless one is older than their years or visa versa. I've got friends, one male with a much older woman, and a female with a much younger man, that have tried and tested this, and in these cases it just hasn't worked.

That's just my experience on this.

Most of my relationships have all been around the same age as me, except for one where she was 7yrs younger, did not seem to cause too much of a problem, lasted two years, much longer than some of the ones closer to my age. 12yrs? I'm not sure, at 39 I would not consider a 51yr old but a 27yr old would be very welcome! At the end of the day, it all depends how you both feel about each other, I reckon.
