Went on Friday, welcomed by a lovely young waitress called Katy who confirmed that we weren't tied to the special valentines menu.
Unfortunatelt the T-Bone & Porterhouse steaks were not available so went with sirloin for Mrs T and rump for me.
Starters of mussels in a wine & garlic sauce were really good, (almost as good as Bella's were when she and Neale kept The Oak) good sized portion with lovely fresh bread.
Mrs T's 12 oz sirloin was tender and flavousome as was my 20 oz rump, both cooked just how we wanted them.
Katy had cottoned on to the fact it was my birthday and we were offered complimentary puddings, how nice is that?
Sticky toffee pudding was very nice.
Will defo be going back, best 'pub steaks' we can remember having since Norman left The Swan at Whiston.
