Dog related market research

The info is for me as I'm seriously considering trying to make a little business. I would be selling hand made:
  1. Dog biscuits.
  2. Rope dog toys.
  3. Paracord dog collars.
  4. Paracord safety buckle cat collars.
  5. Catnip cat toys.
The dog biscuits are made from natural ingredients safe for human consumption although I don't really think you'd like them lol.

The rope toys are made from cotton rope into either dog pulls or a woven ball with a treat inside.

The paracord is 550 so quite strong. Cat collars might not be 550 so could be unsuitable for walking your pet lion. The buckles on the cat collar are breakaway for safety should they get stuck.

Catnip toys are crocheted from jute twine and my cats have been testing one, it is quite long lasting.

What I'd like to know is would you or someone you know buy these things? What is the minimum/maximum you would consider paying? I have my own price ideas but would like to see what potential customers think.

Would i be interested in buying these things? Most of them "Yes, but would they be for sale in a place I would buy them from? Well that depends. I rarely visit town and when I do it's generally to Lidl or Asda. I do online ahopping occasionally, mainly from small sites, never Amazon! Hope that helps!

Sales would be online via a website and Facebook or by such as the buy and sell here. I'm hoping to get enough together to start doing some craft fairs too.

I’d never buy anything with catnip in since I saw my sister-in-laws cat drop down dead minutes after being given a toy with it in.

I'm not a vet but I would suggest that was entirely coincidental as catnip is non toxic to cats and in the highly unlikely event of overdose, they just puke a little.

It very may well have been but after seeing what I saw, I still won't buy anything with catnip in.

Indeed. We regularly give our cat a small pile of the stuff to sit himself on. Maybe it was street-sold catnip, like you get dodgy weed

Don’t be so bloody stupid suggesting that. What an idiotic thing to say.

You shouldn't expect serious answers all the time on here.

But no, there was nothing wrong with that catnip unless that cat had a severe allergy to catnip - though if they did I'd be shocked if they went that long without coming into contact with it.
