“I can sell a stuffed golden eagle, but if that eagle happens to have an egg in the case with it, it is illegal.”

God, and I would have thought I was the only person round these parts that reads the ATG.

The guy is lucky really - he was facing time if he hadn't pleaded guilty. I've seen cabinets of birds eggs, including eagle eggs, go through the major auction houses before and no-one has batted an eyelid. Matey was just being made an example of. If you're going to ban (quite rightly) a trade in endangered birds eggs of any age at all, then you should also ban the trade in any endangered species artifact, of any age, not just over 100 years old.

But a mate of mine has an awesome Victorian taxidermy diorama of 2 red squirrels fencing. Things like that should be allowed.

What type of fencing is it? Steel palisade, chain link or timber panel?

I can't admit to having much knowledge of spammers and have never been faced with the necessity of deleting them but may i humbly ask a question?

Why on Earth would an Asian based purveyor of colonic irrigation tout his business on a forum for folk chatting about this & that half a world away? Why make a half-baked effort to 'get involved' with some of the topics thereon?

I'm having a baffled sort of day all round, really.

The best colonic irrigation I can recommend is 10 pints of Moorhouses Black Cat followed by a Doner Kebab, never fails...

There has been a great rise in 'dental tourism' in recent years, where people take a short break in, say, Budapest, and get their teeth fixed at a more reasonable price at the same time - the saving going a large part of the way to covering the price of the holiday. Perhaps this is an attempt to create a market in 'colonic tourism' - or, possibly, the reverse..
