Heard that they'd closed their doors for the last time last week.
Can anyone confirm?

To all our friends on Facebook, we would like to inform you that the restaurant is in the process of being sold. As far as we know, the completion date will be 20th May after which time it may be closed for redecoration for a couple of weeks before the new owners open -( still an Italian restaurant, but under a new name). I am retiring now to spend time with my wife and grandchildren, Russell Head Chef is also retiring and Lynn our restaurant manager will be taking on a new position at the Noah's Ark in Hartshill. Our other staff will be working with the new owners. We would all like to thank you for your support for La Dolce Vita over the last 9 years and maybe we will see you before we leave. Regards Peter

I was mooching around Stone last week and saw the fruits of this redecoration. From the outside, it looks more like a dentist than a restaurant!

I drove past it earlier today and thought the sign looked very officious.....more like an accountants than a restaurant.
