Tax doesn't have to be taxing....
Today I SORN'd my car (a couple of days late, I know) online with success. I have subsequently changed my mind and would like to part with a whole bunch of my hard earned cash in return for absolutely feck all. Turns out that it doesn't matter how big the deficit is, or how under funded our public services are, the government does not want this money.
Any idea why I cannot now tax my car online, am I doing something wrong? Or do I need to go to a post office, open only when I am at work, for my convenience?
Very confused as to why I cannot tax my car now, can anyone shed any light?
I bet the system which allows you to pay fines online is working fine...
