And because some people obviously don't care about their kids, why else would you put them at risk whilst in charge of a vehicle!

I once made a woman who knocked me off my bike, by being unable to stop at a roundabout, promise to carry a donor card in the future - and to get one for her toddler in the back, "as his bits will be much more useful"....

I like to believe that it might have changed her behaviour.

Cp05 luf - silver renault - stuck behind me in traffic for over 15 minutes. The WHOLE time with a phone held to her head chatting away. People who do this usually make me so mad, but you also had a small baby car seat in the back of your car. Shame. On. You! You have no idea how close I came to getting out and shouting at you!

She spent a fair bit of the time when we were moving with no hands on the steering wheel at all because she was changing gears/using the handbrake.
Refuse to move until they get off the phone....

This winge(ette) is more about parking than driving. I recently had cause to complain
to Arriva about the late arrivals and in some cases, none arrivals of their buses. One
part of my complaint was investigated and it transpired that the bus could not get
past a car parked near Blakiston Street. There would appear to be a very low
level of awareness among some drivers of the needs of bus passengers who don't have
the benefit of a warm and dry car to get about in.

I drive a taxi, the laws don't apply to me so fcuk you!

No, that only applies to double yellow lines and hazard lights.
But has Officer Dibble repeatly points out these days, that is a bad thing. So, kids, before you book a taxi, make sure your are going to be where it can legally stop. It really is amazing how many people forget this fact, just like the traffic restrictions of Bridge Street.

Oh you've started me...
Have a look at the law regarding children in cars, and what seating arangements are required. Next deal with drunken tits who've taken their new-born sprog out to a do and want to take it home in a taxi without a proper child seat. "Oh I can just have it on my lap and put the seatbelt round it". Really? You cared enough to bring a child into this world, but you don't actually care if it explodes in a car shunt? I've seem people take more care of melons that they do of their children. Oh bollocks, I'm ranting again.

English is a funny language, where grammatical gender and physical sex* follow almost exactly, with few exceptions, such as ships being 'she', etc.

The classic reverse example is the French enfant, which is masculine, whether the child is a boy or a girl - etc, etc....

Some people get quite offended if I use 'it' in a sex-specific situation - which just makes it more fun for me.

*Calm down!!

Is one of them coz you really need a poo?

Some lovely individual dinked my car down a country lane, I was stationery and pulled in to let him past and he scraped up the side of me and carried on driving. Luckily it was witnessed and when the police caught up with him he admitted full liability. But back to the point……

…. It is an offence to leave the scene etc. but there are circumstances that will, and have been used in court to get off the hook. At the time of the above incident the police officer told us that failure to stop charges had been dropped against someone who said he couldn’t stop because he needed a poo and had been backed up with a doctor’s note stating the guy had IBS.

That is, I believe, known as the 'Ferguson Defence' for being caught driving on the hard shoulder when the motorway is blocked..

Got a new one, coming home today at about 7pm. Popped into Tesco, left and drove past the station. Some idiot in a Vauxhall Frontera was in the drop-off point; with barely a car-length to spare in front of me he roared onto the road forcing me to swerve onto the central reservation dividing the two lanes. Amazingly I didn't hit anybody. I was only doing about 20 as I was slowing down for the speed bump.
Even more amazingly, he had the nerve to sound his horn at me and get out of the car to tell me what an idiot I was for not slowing down more and letting him out, despite not having the right of way! Just for the sake of saving 10 seconds on his journey...

Just coming back into Stafford and came off the island by the Wagon, some eejit in a white Fiesta van sped past me on the inside all the way to the next red light! I pulled up along side him and he's looking down, texting. Light goes to green and we pull off - before the next lights I indicate to pull into a decent gap and as I look in my mirror he's shook his head at me for pulling in and he looks back down at his phone and carries on texting! IS IT JUST ME OR.......?

Big Yellow and Green Baker Bus X1 ignored the red light on the Station/ Newport Road junction.
I was heading into town on the Newport Road lights and the car in front of me moved on as the lights went green then this big yellow bus came straight on and turned left into town. His light must have been red for quite a time as the car in front of me came to a rapid stop followed by me and the queue behind. Lucky that no one got rear ended.

Woman in silver car driving down Radford Bank at about 12.10pm today just wouldn't pull over to let an ambulance with sirens & flashing blue lights get past.
It was safe for her to pull in and even had the empty bus stop layby which she could have pulled into, but no..... carried on tootling along blocking the way.

Seems to be a few posts about Baker Bus, but nobody actually taking the opportunity to report it to them.

Coming out of town on Thu night was waiting on roundabout by Kwik Fit (hawk, spit) for the lights to change. Clapped out Saxo with baked bean can exhaust in the left most lane for Lichfield Road, me in middle lane for A449. Lights change, we set off, Saxo cuts me up as he isn't going down Lichfield Road really and swerves into A449 lane. As we both had windows open I could hearing him yelling that I was in the wrong lane and various other nice bits of abuse!!!

Try Amsterdam some time. Cyclists ignore stop signs, no cycling areas and one way streets (actually everyone ignores one way streets), quadricycles (very small cars - see G-Wiz) who drive on the pavement, and taxis who drive anywhere (i do believe that had i ordered a taxi to my room i would have had a Mercedes grill sticking through my hotel window).

This morning I saw someone jump a red light at the busy four-way crossing in Newport. I thought this demonstrated a certain devil may care attitude as he was driving a mobility scooter at the time. Fortunately he was wearing the Flat Cap of Invincibility so no harm could come to him.

I don't know whether it was the same bloke but some months ago, also in Newport, I was about to set off and caught a glimpse of something moving,I immediately in front of my bonnet. I instinctively stopped, thinking it might be a bird. It turned out to be a bloke on a scooter. It was the top of his hat that had caught my eye and saved him from being crushed. It took me a long time to stop shaking. He never knew what nearly hit him.
