I was trying to find a particular place on that there - one that i thought to myself was the furthest, flungest, corner i've ever been to. Took me a while and i'm only c.70% sure i've got the right spot.

Then i wondered what were your far-flung corners, so i thought i'd ask.

About nine years ago, I drove a van to Prague, when a friend moved there*. It occurred to me when we arrived, that it was the first time in my life that I'd ever been more than 100 miles from the sea. I've been back a few times, but still never been anywhere further inland.

*He is, of course, an ex-pat - not an immigrant, like they are when they come here.....

Roughly speaking, Google is yet to include sub oceanic geological anomalies so had to guess. Spent a month there, wherever it was.

Ooh, I lived somewhere along the edge of the valley here, from '58 - '61 - I can't quite make out exactly where - they've changed the street names and there's been a bit of building.
