I have seen that a few forumites have football club badges as their avatars & was just interested in who people support & why?.

Me? Aston Villa. Dad is from Great Barr in North Birmingham which is the Villa side of the city. He has absolutely no interest in football however my aunts both married Villa fans who started taking me to games when I was a kid.

My Dad has supported United since 1948, and so I was always going to. We've had season tickets since 1996, if this season happened I think we'd have had our names on our seats.

Mrs A.N.T. is a Utd fan too. Her whole family support them (all from Telford Ha Ha!). My father-in-law goes to Old Trafford quite regularly (when fans are allowed!)

Started supporting West Brom after meeting hubby and going up matches with him. A rubbish team at the moment!

Used to be Stoke City before , as brought up around there . Garth Crooks ( Played for Stoke at the time ) was my mates best man as he used to play on the second team with her hubby before he got his lucky break .

United because I was brought up in Unsworth before moving to Stafford.

And yes I was a United fan before the glory days!!

I'm also a football fan in general and watch other teams who my mates support.

Your lot gave us a bit of a scare in the first half yesterday. They can be very proud of themselves.

I'm pleased to see there's been a few teams doing that of late :)

We're playing a bunch of has-beens on the 17th which I think you'll find will restore a margin of comfort for us at the top of the Prem. :P

Liverpool, always supported them since the age of 7. Have had an irrational hatred of Man U since that age. Its lovely to be doing so well after the dark times of not that long ago!

Yes, considering most of the Villa team had to be dropped-off by their parents before the game they did not do too bad. Louie Barry is definitely one for the future.

The commentator only told us that at least 10 times during the game. I assume that was the only stat in his statpack!

Football focus today came up with the stat that the Villa shirt numbers including the subs added up to 1213 if I remember correctly.
