I totally respect your desire to recycle or put to good use, but seriously expect you will end up having to do that trip to the tip... the amount of CRT monitors I come across is unreal, but you quite literally can't even give these things away.

If I could have a pack of biscuits for every CRT monitor i've been offered in the last couple of years - I'd have a lifetime supply of biscuits now... and i eat A LOT of biscuits!!

On a serious note, someone could need the freeview set top box, so insist that they go as a pair and you might at least get the TV taken to the tip for you
