Sooooooooo weird cos we've been fan's for years and he went along to an audition and as they say 'the rest is history'.
Still freaks me out to see him up there doin' his shiz. You like??
I agree...if you go well prepared i reckon the mud makes it better! Last time (2005) we were about half way up Pennard Hill, and after the torrential rain on the 1st day many of the tents at the bottom of the hill were literally submerged. Loads of people lost everything, but as we'd used our brains a little we were fine.noir2985 said:I like mud. It will be fine.
The Guardian said:The only real chancers he had seen so far, said Alan Brewer, team leader at Pedestrian Gate A, were the five young men wearing wetsuits who had claimed to be part of a performing troupe and said they hadn't been able to carry their tickets since they had no pockets. "They didn't get in. We're not stupid."
lol the poor bar stewards.. i can't wait to see that photos from this year..Andreas Rex said:Correction to my earlier post about being safe from the flooding if you camp up the hill; dont camp in a ditch up the hill!
I've just had a call from BBC and Podz who are on their way back now, having spent the night in the car. Their huge 9 man tent is a complete washout, as is the majority of their stuff! They have no shoes, and virtually everything is ruined. Oh dear.
WHAT?!? You mean to say that you weren't all wearing Forum t shirts for easy recognition??!?noir2985 said:Just got back. I'm absolutely positive that I saw someone who looked like who I thought was BBC from what I could remember of the garden party. It was Thursday night at the stone circle. I could be wrong!
