No. In the market for a 360 though as a media centre for the living room.

I do however plat UT (all), counter strike, team fortress 2, half life deathmatch and live for speed online fairly regularly.

always good xbox360 sync with no troubles to any windows pc but they do not like macs there is ways round it though. The ps3 will sync to anything as long as you stream comes with a blu ray player which is always good. I have now become addicted to trials hd for the xbox360 that game is serious fun

Yeah i reckon if i get a 360 it will be no time before i'm into gaming. Reckon i can make it interface with my mac with a bit of messing around, either way the streaming will all be from a windows machine anyway and will be hard wired. wireless just does my head in.

microsoft did the typical thing with the xbox360 to make it connect with your computer you have to go to a website and input the access code given on your xbox360 however if that website doesn't see a windows machine it refuses to allow it to work. However media streaming software works a treat. I have become a big fan of trials hd which has just been put on the xbox live market place its a redo of trials 2 from the pc lots of fun.

I have a Wii but bit fed up with it now... I think it would be the same with PS3 and Xbox to be honest, novelty soon wares off for me.

I was only after the 360 as a media centre, research shows me its the best bet for my needs. Gaming is a happy byproduct and even if I don't game the device won't go to waste :D

In my accommodation, there is:
2 PS2s
An Xbox
A SNES
4 PCs
Possibly a GameCube
A Sinclair Spectrum +2A

I don't think I've played a game for about six months. Unless you want to count Typing of the Dead.
Who needs games when one has Teh Internetz?

Been years since I have seen that - thats the program where you type to make the car faster and if you make a mistake a bug spalts on your windscreen, yes?

Mmmm, fun and genuinely skill-improving. That's how it should be. I have some Atari ST games from the 80s along these lines.

"Bug splats on windscreen" makes me think first of Desert Bus.
I must admit I've never played with MBTT. I learnt to type by programming and IMing. This is why I type with five fingers.

Yeah I also learned the same way - there are some words I can type at a phenominal rate. My 'usual' password is one - people can watch me do it all day long, but will never figure out the combination.

In the old days the chicks were taught the 'delicate art of typing' when we did 'making useful things from wood and metal', but it became seen as demeaning to the fair sex and it faded from the curriculum. Nobody realised at the time that everybody should be capable of typing competently. Bring it back for all, I say.
