Bless him, I made him dig them up while he was still in his work uniform... He thinks that's enough for tonight's tea (Greek chicken & potatoes) - gives me an excuse to stuff cheese & crackers later. That's your tea sorted, what's the carer having?

Those Desiree’s look amazing. Where did you get them from?!
This year our seed potatoes & tomatoes came from Pipers Garden Centre on the A5 (turn left at Gailey Island) & we will defiantly go back next year for more. They were a lot better than some of the Garden centre chains, although quite a small place they had lots of variety. Those Desiree’s look amazing. Where did you get them from?!
The Carer mentioned something about acid soil yesterday, something about mixing in grass cuttings with the compost next year. We don't rotate as we grow all of the veg in pots.
Still waiting on my Green Beans...
Ask the oldies with best looking plots and most are polite and helpful, think that's possibly your best best even tho spuds are well easy for all to grom, insects worst problemof allHi all, seeing in this whole credit crunch time, I thought I would get more interested in vegetable growing this year after having a dabble last summer and growing some nice spuds and green beans..
Any tips anyone?
