Getley Kitchens noise pollution.

Getting silly all this. I thought they'd start to get in line with the lawful working hours. It appears they'll be wringing as much as they can from the remaining grace period. Utter caddery of the highest order.

If I ever need a kitchen it certainly won't be one of theirs, any news on where the owner lives? I'm thinking mobile phones and a loudspeaker to relay what others hear, as then the only person he can get to stop it is himself.

Looks like they've finally started towing the line as it didn't start up until 7.30am this morning. Phew... the first working morning in 10 weeks when I haven't been woken. The director bleats on about running his business but has complete and utter contempt for the local residents. His disingenuous statement about being surprised about about the noise because of the distance shows just how shallow he truly is. They've known just how badly this noise has been effecting hundreds of local residents from the start but still insisted at starting as early as 04:58 last week.

I judge people by their actions not their emollient words. I am looking to have have a new kitchen custom built and installed and will certainly be avoiding this company... and will recommend others avoid them too!

Still having problems with this bl*&dy company. Their latest trick is running a large duel fan unit 24/7, even when no-one is on site. This creates a low frequency hum, not that loud but the sound is very, very persistant and travels far at night. It means the residents have no longer any respite from the noise.
I can only conclude that the owner is a sociopath as he seems quite happy to screw everyone around him as long as he makes his profit.

Complaint duly raised... If any of you other folks are affected then please contact the council's environmental health dept.
He's breaching his noise-abatement notice and needs prosecuting.

I'm sure the company in question have suitable filters in place to stop any damage occurring, and a shutdown mechanism should the filters become blocked.
