Google Nexus 10 - iPad beater?

Better screen, faster CPU, twice the RAM, cheaper by nearly £100 - looks to me like hardware-wise the ipad has been superseded. It all depends on whose software (or 'ecosystem', god I hate that term!) you prefer now I guess. I still prefer the styling of the ipad, or at least the nice aluminium back to them, but simple things like micro USB/HDMI rather than a proprietary connector will win me over every time.

Well, and the price!

The iPad is a nice bit of kit. It still stands up well against the competition. The latest iPhone in comparison seems a disappointment and not worth the premium. In the past the apple products worked so sweetly they didn't need to be the highest specification. However the Android devices are very nice to use these days. I have the latest HTC phone and an iPhone 5 just doesn't stand up to it in any way other than use-ability.
I have been looking at the google tablet as it allows different user accounts. This means I can let the kids use it and not worry about them messing up all my apps! I may pick one up when I go to the USA this year as the exchange rate makes the price very tempting.

That's a good point actually, I've not tried the multiple accounts. Will have a look this week and report back.
