Graphite i-Mac

Old style Graphite i-Mac. 400 MHz processor, 128MB RAM, 13GB hard drive. Operating system=OS9.

Following software installed:

Illustrator 7
Photoshop 5.5
Fireworks 2
Flash 4
Freehand 9
Dreamweaver 2
Director 6
Quark XPress 4.04
Appleworks 6
Acrobat Reader 4
Internet Explorer 5

Old versions of software, but effective enough. Would suit graphics student etc.

Only drawback, like many of the original i-Macs, is that the modem doesn't work anymore, but if you can get broadband which will run on OS9 it should be fine as all USB ports work.

Plus, 250MB Zip Drive with 3 100MB zip disks for backing up yo shizzle.

Tipped to be a future antique, you might be better of shoving it back in the box. (Tenshon tells me).
That's more crap in our loft too.

My old dear will kill me if I don't shift it, but it may have to go in the folks' loft if nobody wants it.

Tell Tenshon that for £150 he can have a(nother) future antique in the loft.

if you get no joy here, stick it on ebay, rarse.. looks like you could get £150 if you're lucky:

£135.00

£140.00 and it wasn't even in a box!

£152.00

i know ebay's a pain in the (r)arse, but if you can be bothered to spend 10 minutes listing it, it's probably your best bet
Not sure I can. Nor sending the young man. That's why I listed here, in the forlorn hope that some forumite might be yearning for a 7 year old Mac.

Someone I know might be, depending on whether it runs GarageBand... Is it still available, jimbob?

*EDIT*: Remembered the name of the software :)

Looking at the dates, I think the thread may be dead...
i reckon jimbob will still have it available, but it won't run garageband i'm afraid.. this is quite long in the tooth now, and i doubt it is anywhere near the minimum requirements for iLife et al.. it's OS 9 for a start, and i'm pretty sure garageband is OS X only..
