I went to Leicester today to visit son at Uni and he took me to a fab Italian Restaurant...see other threads for photos.
Anyway, one of the things that he showed me was an annexe with a very large table...I think seated about 16 ..which is for singles.
So basically if you are single and fancy a pizza, you can go in , plonk yourself down, take pot luck on the company...but meet other singles who just want to mingle.
Apparently it works very well....what a fabulous idea.
