Greengate Deli is licensed, I have already started to make some calls to some local beer suppliers, we have accounts with Freedom, Lymestone, Quartz & Kinver plus Halfpenny Green Vineyard etc.

More than willing to push this idea forward

Watch this space for further updates....
It probably should have a space of its own, then...

Can't believe I missed Slaters, Purity sounds great, but when it comes to Mead unsure if I can resist the temptation!

Hi Chris,

First of all thankyou for pushing this idea forward. Its something I have hoped for a number of years and I am sure with your talents and the excellent staff at the Lewis partnership it will be a huge success.

Is it your intention to just sell these beers or would you also offer visitors the chance to try before they buy and turn the whole process of buying good quality locally produced beer into a bit of an experience aswell??

I think you are onto a Gold mine Chris. From my experience of people who enjoy Cask ales and locally produced beers they also enjoy/want locally produced quality food which the greengate deli has in abundance.

Off the beer subject here, but I adore the Greengate Deli. It serves up some truly lovely food. There's always something tasty on offer in the hot-meal option (sometimes it takes me ages to pick which one to have), the bespoke sandwiches are not only miles better than a place like Subway (fresher and better quality ingrediants), but also cheaper! The sausage rolls are just the best ever, and have completely spoiled me for all other regular, rubbish, shop-bought sausage rolls.

The cheeses, the pies, chutneys, pickles and everything else! It's really great to have somewhere like this on our doorstep.
