So far my favourite has been Helvellyn which we did last year, my legs were shot the next day but we still went and did Cat Bells - didn't think I would make it and then nearly got blown off the top!
This year we are doing Scafell Pike and Snowdon. I'd love to do the Three peaks challenge but not sure I'm fit enough - we'll see.
do you like climbing?
Yep, quite partial to walking up hills! Not been up Helvellyn or Cat Bells though. Scafell Pike I managed on 2nd attempt, as first time the weather was so horrendous we turned back. Snowdon been up a couple of times... last time was when the new cafe was being built so got to the top and ate lunch listening to the dulcet tones of JCBs on the go!! First time walked up from Pen y Pass, second time was up from Nantgwynant then down to Rhyd Ddu and bus back. The Bryn Tyrch Inn in Capel Curig is well worth calling in for din dins afterwards - food is really nice, but does get busy there - www.bryntyrchinn.co.uk
Have a trip to Skiddaw planned later in the year to stay here: http://www.skiddawhouse.co.uk/ (no road access!) and another one planned to Wales to stay here: http://www.elenydd-hostels.co.uk/hostels/tyncornel/index.html which is also about as remote as it gets!
