Huge appreciation for Admin

Once again the forum is flooded with spam, yet we know by the end of the day it will all vanish.

Many moons ago before the existence of this 'ere forum, I contemplated setting up a similar forum myself. Obviously I didn't, and several years later I discover Stafford forum. I was almost envious that I hadn't got there first, as it is used so much more than I could have imagined and by some great people. Well... I am envious no more.

Would I want to spend my days sifting through every thread that has been started for spam? Acting mediator when a thread breaks into riot? Banning users/IP's to keep the forum the nice place it is?

As a frequent user of the forum Mr Admin (and I don't care if you really are Santa), I would just like to dedicate a thread to your good self for the hard work and effort you put into this place. "Hats off" dear fellow, and keep up the fantastic work!! :)

Er, I mean, thanks very much. In all seriousness, I really, really appreciate all the nice things that have been said/implied/outright shouted recently, and it makes it feel all worthwhile. :)

I agree - i'm not sure how you do it and stay on top of it all but well done you. Its fantastic how you are able to link threads too if a topic that has been raised in the past and you're always there in a flash to respond.
