I can't find any wellies

I am hoping they are some seasoned internet shoppers on here that know how to beat the search engine bull**** and can help me find some wellies for a gift.

I need some ladies (not grey/dark green/black) the brighter the better wellies.

In a size 10

I have millions of hits on Google, all of which seem to direct me to pretty wellies that go up to an 8.

I'm sure they must exist somewhere, I just need a point in the right direction.

Try adding size 10 to 'the basket'...

This is a harder challenge than would first meet the eye.

Thanks guys, nothing in the right size in the shoe shed, and a 9 is not big enough I'm afraid. Idealy Gramaisc I could do with something a bit more girly that the green ones.

Thanks Graham!

Lidl should be having ladies fleece welly socks from next Monday - http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/lidl_uk/hs.xsl/index_38956.htm - actual availability times can be a bit hit-and-miss, though...

Sizes 2½ to 8.

I have the best pair of wellies in the world, they are sheepskin lined 'Emu' wellies - an Australian make I think, have had them for a few years and recently while jumping through Doxy Marshes I discovered one has a slit in it :( *Sob, sob, wet feet*

I'm wondering if the little paddling pool repair kit would be suitable for patching them? Ill never find another pair (that I can afford without taking out a second mortgage) and if my toes get even the slightest bit cold or wet they get cramp *sob, sob*

It's got to be worth a try. It can be possible to use a hot knife to smear the slit closed again, but here's always a risk of making it worse if you botch it up.

If they're leaking, then is there anything to lose..?

I love my MuckBoots with a passion. When one of mine split I bought something called Aquaseal by Gear Aid. It is designed to fix holes in waders and in Gore-tex things. Just to be on the safe side I stuck a patch from a bicycle repair kit on top. I think it gives them a certain rakish charm. The patch has lasted three months so far. I might open a stall in the market, providing quite visible welly repairs while you wait.
