It's for my ex, he's been a bus/coach/minibus driver for about 10 years and a multi-dropper before that, literally just quit his job (last Weds) with PKS Travel in Cannock because they were messing with his hours and he was barely picking up any work (think he was on a zero contract).

Obviously the usual avenues are being covered; checking websites or various local and national companies, joining agencies, job centre plus website - but if anyone happens to see a sign in a shop window (particularly deliveries for takeaways or anything like that) or hear of anything going then it'd be great if you could post on here or drop me a PM so I can pass details on to him.

He lives in Rugeley at the moment so will consider anything in Lichfield, Rugeley, Cannock/surrounding areas as well as in Stafford and surrounding.

I kept on at him to get one when the company he was working for before this most recent one went bust (that make sense? lol), but he said it wouldn't be worth it...

Is amazon open now?

Its ok answered my own question..checked the amazon careers website and only IT stuff available, which would be of no use to him as he's not very 'techy'.

i've heard you can get your hgv licence free through the job centre, might only be for people who have been on jsa for a certain amount of time though

If he has a *MANUAL* PSV license, ring my boss on 01785 213665 (Westside Taxis). We're after another driver for the 14 seat transit.
