Would like to thank everyone for making last night pretty damn good. Have got a cracking headache today and I'm sure everyone is still in bed.

Andreas Rex - thanks for your last 20p - I couldn't have purchased that last round, sorry for sitting on you knee before I left (I got emotional).

To all of those I met - you are all a sound bunch and not shy in coming forward. My wife and I walked into the Railway not really knowing anyone only to discover we knew a few folk and even more by the end of the night. Andreas Rex has made me an honoury staffordian since I have only lived here 12 years.

I also want to say a big thanks to the organisers of last night's shin dig. It was excellent putting names to faces, although I was a bit shy so didn't get to chat to as many people as I should have.

I am not quite as out going as my hubby, Gota quid, who introduced himself to one girl by balancing giant Connect 4 hoops on her head, I am sure I would have got a slap if I had tried that!

Moley- you are a top bloke and your wife is lovely!! Very much enjoyed talking nonsense about jam with you.

The banjo player was so talented! Not usually my kind of music but he had a real skill.

Top night all round, thanks again.

Thanks babycakes you are a top lady. I completely forgot about; 'The Subway 12inch Jam Sub' , what was I on?

My wife reminded me this morning that I bit Andreas Rex's kneck on my way home.......luckily he was so drunk he didn't seem to mind.

I think we also scared the shit out of your hubby on the way home by banging on the window......so I do apologise for that.........

I'd also like to say thankyou! Was a great night, I should have introduced myself to a few more people but I needed to be a little more drunk for that. It was great to meet all the people I did manage to speak to. Thanks!

My head hurts! How did I get home? What happened today? I remember rain and darts. Forgot about the big 'school' photo till reading some other thread - looking forward to seeing that. Is it going to be subtitled with everyones forum names? I've got a load of photos that I'll upload next week sometime too. Quality music everyone who played - I'm going to dig out one of my old banjos and get it working again - there must be an online banjo site to learn a bit from. I'm going to spread a few skill points around to the organisers. Great to see everyone, respect to those who came down not really knowing anyone. I'm going back to bed and play some Regina Spektor until the pain goes away.

i can't wait to see that photo.. i would politely ask that it doesn't feature usernames, however.. i like to remain anonymous until people meet me in real life.. i love the "so that's what a dirtybobby looks like!" moment when you first meet someone :P
