I saw them arriving back at the Stafford base by Chinook yesterday, lots of activity up here. Apparently the other 140 didn't make it back due to a technical fault with their plane and are awaiting parts for it.

I am reliably informed that most have gone off on leave. We've certainly taken a a load from the barracks to the station.

Indeed, the plane due to bring them home has problems, they haven't got the parts there to repair it or the tech peeps to do the job, the RAF can't send a plane till Friday at earliest, on top of the delay they will still be required to spend 24 hrs in Cyprus as part of their 'back to normality' procedures....Currently many are a week overdue for return.

She worked in Waterstone's in Greengate Street, ( and indeed Ottakar's in it's previous incarnation). Left when she landed a job as Children's Editor for OUP - so I was told.

Yes this happened thursday night, my sisters bf drives for them and had an awful weekend

Its been all over the national news today. If your feeling ill don't go to stafford hospital is the best course of action i think.
