Awful news, labcm. A death is always a tragedy, but knowing that it's a relative of a Forumite makes it feel that much closer to home.

Sincere condolences :(

Anarchy in the UK
I saw the sign walking home yesterday. This is the second fatal road accident on Lichfield Road this year, and we're not even half way through...

'tis always sad to lose a family member in such circumstances. stolen, you might say, before their time. hopefully something good will come of it - more awareness of the danger hotspots. general road awareness. hopefully.

jesus wept
Jesus wept (Greek: ἐδάκρυσεν ὁ ἰησοῦς) is a phrase famous for being the shortest verse in the Christian New Testament (but, in some translations, not the shortest in the Bible[1]). It is found in the Gospel of John, chapter 11, verse 35.

None at ASDA either... not that you knew until you'd put your card in, gone through putting your PIN in and actually put the nozzle in the filler... only to find nothing happened!

Subsequently went to Tesco and filled up no probs. (not because I'm a panic buying freak, but because I was empty!!)
