i don't recognise the name "pacers", but i remember my favourite sweets (along with fruit salad and blackjacks) were exactly as you describe - like mint chewits, but sold individually in green & white wrappers - so i can onjly assume they're the same things!Kharis said:Anyone remember pacers??
Green and white striped sweets. Looked a bit like a chewit? They were lovely!!!
Fell asleep on a bag of them once as a wee little un and and ended up wearing them all in my hair the next day...it was like a scene from the fly! half child...half pacer....yuk...frightening!!!
Hehehe

LOL. Oh my sweet cherry pie, Pacers. You must go in the new quaint little sweet shop up the side of Maccy Ds in town, it's like stepping back to the 80s, my friend and I stocked up before the cup final the other week, it's fabtastic, we too were big Pacer eaters. RIP PACERS.Kharis said:Anyone remember pacers??

Oh thank f*ck for that. You shouldn't scare people like that.dirtybobby said:ah, apparently i was misinformed.. bally good job, i say - biscuit boosts are the shiznit, dawgnoir2985 said:WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!?! Boosts rule. I've no idea why they discontinued the two best ones though (peanut and coconut). Starbars have been around forever surely!?dirtybobby said:ah, apparently i was misinformed.. bally good job, i say - biscuit boosts are the shiznit, dawgnoir2985 said:WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!?! interesting fact: Boost was initially launched as a tough, coconut and caramel bar, coated in chocolate (in a red wrapper).. it was then relaunched in an a further two variants: a peanut butter version ina yellow wrapper, and a biscuit version in a blue wrapper.. the coconut version is no longer on sale, while the peanut variant is now called a Starbar..
Ahhhhhh more exotic than bounty. They were a special treat..............I remember them well but not many will...FooFighter said:Cherry Ripe - Australian chocolate bar made by Cadbury's
